Partnership with ArkanSTOL
The Pilot Club is excited and proud to announce our partnership with ArkanSTOL!
The Pilot Club is working closely with the event organizers to assist in testing a new course layout as well as to provide a simulated event (as we did earlier this year) for flightsim enthusiasts to experience the magic of ArkanSTOL. Additionally, we are working on custom add-on scenery for FS2020 and X-Plane to be used for the Club event later this year.
ArkanSTOL is a real-world timed STOL event requiring participants to depart the main runway, land at two other designated runways, & return to the landing point. The Challenge is for experienced current STOL pilots with capable aircraft…this is not an introductory STOL event. It tests the skills of the best pilots and provides an opportunity to exchange tips & knowledge of backwoods flying. Located in the heart of the Ozark mountains, this event is as challenging as it is beautiful!
