TPC Flight School releases P3 Commercial Multi-Engine Course
We are excited to release our P3 Commercial Multi-Engine Rating course², part of our flightsim training program!
A Multi-Engine Rating is a pilot rating that qualifies you to fly as pilot-in-command of any aircraft with more than one engine.

This course will cover the following topics:
Engine starting in a multi-engine aircraft.
Taxi, takeoff, and landing.
Engine Failure during takeoff and landing.
How to fly with one engine inoperative.
Instrument approach and landing with one engine inoperative.
And more…
If you have completed the IR (P2) course with us, then you will be familiar with the training flow. Students will go through ground school consisting of instructional video lessons and a written exam at the end.
Students will then be able to schedule practice flights until ready for a Practical Examination (checkride). You will then earn your P3 wings!
Date of public release: 19 April 2025
After the release, for a period of 90 days, the P3 Commercial Multi-Engine Rating course will undergo a crucial feedback period, where we want to hear and implement your feedback.
