We have super exciting news! The Pilot Club is doing ArkanSTOL again this year! It will be hosted by the last year’s winner Bahlockay | TPC8766. All TPC Members are invited to this event, so even if you are not flying, you can spectate.
Just like last year, TPC teamed up with the organizers of the real world ArkanSTOL competition and our Flight Ops team is excited to invite you to participate in our Virtual Backcountry Experience. Our ArkanSTOL event is based on a real-world timed STOL event requiring the participant to depart the main runway, land at two other designated runways, and return to the landing point.
We are working closely with the event organizers to assist in testing slightly adjusted course layout as well as to provide a simulated event for flightsim enthusiasts to experience the magic of ArkanSTOL.
We are utilizing custom add-on scenery for FS2020 and X-Plane made by Spencer and Michael (both TPC Members).
This challenge is for experienced current STOL pilots with capable aircraft; this is not an introductory STOL event. It tests the skills of the best pilots and provides an opportunity to exchange tips & knowledge of backwoods flying. Located in the heart of the Ozark mountains, this event is as challenging as it is beautiful!

Aircraft Classes: There will be 3 classes of aircraft accepted:
Light Sport (up to 1320 lbs)
Bush (1321 lbs-2300 lbs)
Touring (2301 lbs & above)
Note: No NOS or modified engines this year. If flying Kitfox must use Stage 1 or FreedomFox.
