BBQ Bounty - TPC Charters Airline Event - Spring 2025

It is spring. The sun is shining.  The temperature is starting to warm up. It is time to break out the grills and the smokers. What better place is there to get BBQ than the Lone Star State?

TPC Charters Spring 2025 event will be based in the state of Texas. The General Aviation (GA) aircraft will travel around the state looking for the best BBQ restaurants in the state. The airliners and business jets will be hopping back and forth between Texas and some of the other states known for BBQ to sample the different styles to see what best suits their palate.

All aircraft will be starting in the Texas capital - Austin. Airliners will start at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (KAUS). GA aircraft will start at Austin Executive Airport (KEDC).

Note:  Airliners will be required to fly into or out of Texas for the flight to count. Flying from one FBO to another in Texas or flying from one FBO to another outside of Texas will not be allowed.

Charters Pilots will receive 500 TPC Points for each airport visited.  Your first flight will earn you 1,000 TPC Points as you will be departing from one event airport and landing at another. An additional 500 TPC Points will be awarded for completing all GA event airports or all event Airliner airports. Pilots are eligible to receive both awards.

Event aircraft will not be ferried during this event. Pilots will be allowed additional aircraft specifically for the event. Once the event has started, any aircraft associated to the event will not be ferried. Your normally assigned aircraft that is not associated to the event will still be able to be ferried, but flights in aircraft not associated with the event will not count for TPC Points. Aircraft associated with the event will not be changed during the event, so plan accordingly.

This event will start on 1 March 2025.
