Come join The Pilot Club and Atlanta ARTCC as we make our way from Chicago to Atlanta in celebration of Atlanta’s automated people mover system…. Huh?

Our flight from Chicago O'Hare International Airport (KORD) to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (KATL), we can expect an approximate flight time of 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Several major airlines, including American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines, serve this route with numerous daily flights, giving us plenty of options.

As we prepare for departure from KORD, we should appreciate that it is one of the busiest airports in the world, boasting an extensive network of domestic and international flights.

We'll find a unique layout with multiple terminals and a fantastic range of dining and shopping choices, from famous Chicago-style pizza to local boutiques.

During our ascent, we’ll likely enjoy breathtaking views of the Chicago skyline, featuring iconic skyscrapers like the Willis Tower and John Hancock Center. As we head southeast, we may spot beautiful landscapes, including the Indiana Dunes National Park along Lake Michigan and the expansive farmland of the Midwest.

As we approach KATL, we’ll see the vast urban sprawl of Atlanta, along with notable landmarks such as the Georgia State Capitol and the lively downtown area.

KATL is renowned for being one of the busiest airports in the world by passenger numbers and serves as a major hub for both domestic and international travel.

We can look forward to a modern design at the airport, featuring extensive amenities, including a wide variety of restaurants and shops that reflect Southern culture and hospitality.

Just maybe don’t stay too long…

See you in the virtual skies!
